Oakland III: Vietnamese Sandwiches

My favorite spot to get vietnamese sandwiches is Cam Huong in Downtown Oakland’s Chinatown. I like their barbeque chicken sandwich, which is stuffed with vegetables, like carrots, cucumbers and cilantro, and sliced and pickled daikon-like radish.  It’s a little bit sweet and tangy. I’m pretty allergic to taro, but I love their taro dessert with coconut milk cream, and you can find it in the back of the restaurant with the other chilled desserts. Cam Huong Restaurant is located @ 920 Webster St. between 10th St. + 9th St. in Oakland Chinatown.
